The Research Center fpr Taiwan and Southeast Asia Archaeology at the Institute of History and Philology, Academia Sinica, is dedicated to exploring the archaeology of Taiwan and Southeast Asia. Our research focuses on the development of prehistoric cultures, cross-regional interactions in historical periods, and the connections between archaeology and contemporary society. We examine Taiwan's local archaeology and its relationships with surrounding Southeast Asian regions through archaeological field works, interdisciplinary collaborations, and data compilation, fostering cross-cultural understanding and scholarly dialogue.
